There are moments when I suddenly feel the arrival of autumn—and it seems not only that I am observing autumn, but that autumn is also quietly gazing back at me. This sense of communion with nature is the essence of this piece, which personifies autumn to capture that quiet exchange.

The yellow pillar in the background carries a symbolic meaning that spans across both works in the series. Depicted as moving from right to left—like scenery seen from a moving train—it evokes the passage of time.

As the first piece in the series, it represents the early stage of that temporal journey.

The lines extend like autumn leaves reaching outward, as if autumn itself is greeting us in a gentle gesture.
